MEMBERSHIP LEVEL

Unlike commercial services, some which offer memberships costing thousands of dollars, ...and no guarantees, CSI is a not-for-profit organization which guarantees every membership that it issues.   CSI charges a membership fee that covers the average cost of providing each of our three levels of service.

A COMPARISON OF THE CSI MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

LIMITED MEMBERSHIP $25

Advantages:

• LIMITED membership serves as a good introductory level of membership for anyone.  It allows one to get to know our organization before upgrading to a FULL or UNLIMITED membership.
• LIMITED members are available to be selected by a nationwide group at a very low, one-time, cost.
• Even at $25, the LIMITED membership comes with a guarantee.  (Detailed below.)

Disadvantages:

• With no ability to make selections, LIMITED members must wait to be selected by other members.
• It is not possible for LIMITED members to match themselves with other LIMITED members.

FULL MEMBERSHIP $200
($150 for Teens and Seniors)

Advantages:

• FULL members have BOTH the option of being selected by other members, and the option of selecting them.
• When FULL members find a person with whom they would like to communicate, they don't have to wait for that person to find them.

Disadvantages:

• Paying the $15 information exchange fee for each selection, may discourage FULL members from making all of the selections that they would otherwise make.
• FULL membership does not include Automatic Screening. Therefore, FULL members do not see the profile of EVERY available member who meets their requirements; rather, FULL members see only those profiles that are on "Active Status" when they request a screening.
• Since the $15 information exchange fees do not apply to a membership upgrade, FULL members who later upgrade to the UNLIMITED level, end up paying more in fees than if they had started with the UNLIMITED membership.

UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIP $525
($450 for Teens and Seniors)

Advantages:

• UNLIMITED members have all of the advantages of the above two levels, but none of the disadvantages.
• UNLIMITED members have unlimited access to the profile information of all potential matches, and that information is mailed to them automatically, without any paper work or effort on their part, (after the initial set-up of the Automatic Screen).
• UNLIMITED members may make an unlimited number of selections, (and be selected an unlimited number of times), all at NO COST beyond the initial membership fee.
• The duration of the Automatic Screening service is not for a fixed amount of time, but rather, it continues "until successfully finding a partner for marriage".  One may stop the Automatic Screening process by simply placing their profile on "inactive status", and they may resume the process again by simply placing their profile on "Active Status", all without any additional membership fees.

Disadvantages:

• A higher initial membership fee.

CONFUSED BY THE DIFFERENT LEVELS?

TRY THIS "FISHING" ANALOGY

A LIMITED member is like a fish, in that in order for the LIMITED member to get matched, someone must first catch them.

FULL and UNLIMITED members are fishermen & fisherwomen, but they are fish too (since they may also be selected by other FULL and UNLIMITED members.)

A FULL member uses a butterfly net to catch fish from the river of available members. When the net is lifted out of the water, each fish that meets the FULL member's screening requirements, is caught in the net.  It costs $15 for each fish that is taken from the net.

The problem with the FULL membership is that when their butterfly net is NOT in the water, the available fish continue to swim by, past the FULL member.  Some of those fish will return to this part of the stream to be caught another time, but some are only available for a short period of time before they are caught in another person's net.

The UNLIMITED member uses a better strategy.  Instead of a butterfly net, the UNLIMITED member uses a volleyball net, and, instead of dipping it in-and-out of the water occasionally, the UNLIMITED member permanently anchors the net, and then goes about his or her business.

Each fish that meets the UNLIMITED member's requirements is caught in the net, and is automatically placed in the UNLIMITED members U.S. postal mail box, ...all with no effort or cost to the UNLIMITED member.

The volleyball net (Automatic Screening) stays in place until the UNLIMITED member has found his or her "perfect fish" and informs CSI to remove their net from the stream of new or newly available members.

Okay, okay!  Its not a perfect analogy, but its the best one we've come up with yet!
